- open .srt with MS Word, it will let you choose the correct encoding ( cyrillic - windows )
- control + a (select all) and control + c (copy all)
- open notepad
- Format -> Font -> Script: Cyrillic
- control + v (paste)
- file -> save as ... make sure it is Unicode (not ANSI)
