better to use importexporttools.xpi for thunderbird (but it will import ALL folders so be prepared
download the xpi file Thunderbird Tools -> Addons -> search for an invisible dropdown "Install" (awful UI/UX) after you've setup an email account with Thunderbird (any account) you can actually access
Tools Menu --> ImportExportTools -> Import (otherwise without an account it's just grayed out)
