remote control psexec ultravnc cpuz

ultravnc testing

http://www.uvnc.com/download/

I downloaded the "binaries only" version

but when you double click winvnc.exe you'll have huge trouble killing it unless you use task manager to kill the process

http://www.uvnc.com/install/cmdline.html lists instructions on command line (always the best!)

can run with a java interface (thus removing the need for a "client")?

http://192.168.1.50:5800

right click Under admin properties to choose the http ports (e.g. 5800)

You can also choose to refuse multiple connections etc.

ms logon can be a hassle

the DSM controls the encryption, although many people seem to recommend using SSH and forwarding all traffic?

Ultra VNC single Click

Download the server version http://www.uvnc.com/download/index.html

Download the "edit" files, although really you could just make your own http://www.uvnc.com/addons/singleclick.html zip the file(s) that you want in the customised version, then go to: http://sc.uvnc.com/cgi-bin/upload3.pl or some other place (why a website?) to "create" your binary... helpdesk.exe

(On the IT Tech server) I can't figure out listen mode so I just use command line: c:\uvnc\vncviewer -listen 5500

Then double click the helpdesk.exe and the "connect" and you're in business. Note that more optimisation needs to be done for "screen refresh" - 64 & tight, and encryption might be important for security.
